Developed specifically for route races, use in circuits and driving on high performance route, the Tech-Air® 7x system, approved by the FIM, is derived from the proven MotoGP airbag technology Alpinestars. The fully autonomous and autonomous motorcycling airbag system is designed for racing and offers bikers aerodynamic Tech-Air® protection, low profile and highly ventilated. Developed for recreational and high performance motorcycling, Tech-Air® 7x provides bikers with comprehensive protection for the upper body when covering the shoulders, chest and full back. The integrated back protector extends in length to provide additional protection to the coxis. The Tech-Air® 7x system can be used as an independent system or as an integrated system within a suit or compatible jacket. The system is designed to operate in races on closed circuit tracks, as well as for road driving and light all-terrain driving.

The state-of-the-art Tech-Air® 7x system incorporates an active electronic system with twelve integrated sensors: 3 triaxial accelerometers (one located on the back protector and 2 on the shoulders) and 1 triaxial gyroscope (located inside the back protector). These sensors control the pilot's body in search of unexpected shocks or movements. Developed through years of research in collaboration with more than 50% of the world's leading MotoGP drivers and customers Alpinestars that drive with Tech-Air® systems, our team has analysed driving data of millions of kilometers and thousands of accidents to continuously improve the system's intelligent accident detection algorithms. When identifying an accident situation, which occurs when the pilot's body is subjected to a high and/or sudden amount of energy, the algorithm will activate the deployment of the protective airbag, providing unmatched protection to the pilot or passenger carrying the system (with a maximum inflation time of 44 ms, depending on the volume of the airbag size). The absorption of the impact when carrying the inflated airb represents a decrease in the impact force of up to 90% compared to a passive EC level 1.

• The Tech-Air® 7x system is equipped with two driving modes, RACE and STREET, which have specific AI collision detection algorithms that can be easily selected through the Tech-Air® app.

• The Tech-Air® 7x system is designed to be used under any suit or leather jacket Alpinestars Tech-Air® Ready or Tech-Air® Compatible, or any third-party leather suit with 4 cm of space around the biker's chest circumference. The additional space for the chest is necessary to accommodate the airbag inflated in case it is deployed. In addition, the leather suit should not stay too tight in the crotch area, to avoid discomfort in case it is deployed.
• The Tech-Air® 7x system is designed to quickly and easily connect to Tech-Air®-compatible race suits or jackets for greater practicality and comfort.
• The Tech-Air® 7x system is equipped with a converter kit, allowing it to also be used as an independent airbag system for real-world versatility.
• The Tech-Air® 7x system has dual load capacity, which means that with two full gas inflators, the system provides two independent airbag deployments. Only one gas inflator will be deployed to inflate the entire airbag system during a shock situation.
• A quick opening cover allows users to quickly replace the gas inflator, available only in countries where local regulations allow the replacement of the gas inflator by people.
• The Tech-Air® 7x system uses an integrated and certified lithium ion battery, with a fully charged battery life of approximately 20 hours of active driving time and a recharge time of approximately 4 hours; charging the battery for approximately 1 hour will provide approximately 7 to 8 hours of driving time.
• Easy to use: to activate the Tech-Air® 7x system, simply close the front flap, taking care to correctly place velcro patches. An internal magnetic switch will detect that the front flap is closed and the system will turn on automatically and activate the airbag system. To disable the airbag, open the front flap and turn off automatically.
• The base layer of the Tech-Air® 7x system can be washed separately, after removing non-washable parts that include airbag, gas inflators and ALL electronic components, including LED screen and wiring.

Protection:

• The Tech-Air® 7x system is compatible with all FIM Grand Prix requirements for airbag systems, making it suitable for road racing competitions.

• The Tech-Air® 7x system presents the latest developments in Tech-Air® technology Alpinestars, including a more compact and complete active electronic system that is equipped with 12 sensors.
• There are 4 triaxial sensors: 1 triaxial accelerometer and 1 triaxial gyroscope located in the main electronic control unit, and 2 additional triaxial accelerometers located in the shoulders, developed specifically for track and high-performance driving, and these combine with the Tech-Air® algorithm to accurately monitor when to deploy the Airbag in the event of a crash.Upon detecting a crash situation, a protective Airbag is deployed, providing unrivaled protection to the driver with a maximum inflation time of 44 ms depending on the size of the Airbag.
• The Marine has been fully certified for up to 4 deployments of the Aircraft before it has to be replaced, provided it has not been damaged in one of the first 3 deployments.
• This airbag system is certified as category II EPI (individual protection team) under European Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

• The Tech-Air® 7x system is certified as an inner garment, to be used in combination with and below a protective garment.

Construction:

• An integrated LED screen is strategically located on the front flap and indicates the operating status of the system, the battery state and the number of remaining available inflators.

• The Tech-Air® 7x system can be connected to an LED screen with external cable, which is sold as an accessory, to use with an exclusive race monkey with Tech-Air® 7x system Alpinestars or a Tech-Air® compatible jacket.
• The system can be connected to the LED display located on the left arm of Tech-Air® compatible suits or jackets Alpinestars, or the new Tech-Air® 7x cable LED screen available as an accessory, to use with the new generation of Tech-Air® 7x-compatible garments equipped with the dedicated pocket for LED screen and cable channeling.
• The front flap features an integrated charging port for easy and convenient charging of the system.Simply plug the USB-C cable into the front flap and connect it to a power source.The charging port is always accessible, even when the system is integrated into a suit or leather jacket Alpinestars.
• The Tech-Air® 7x ECU is located within a robust housing and is protected by a seal within the vest to ensure performance in all weather conditions; the vest and the components are certified to operate between -10 °C and 50 °C.
• The vest features extensive perforations for superior airflow, while the ribbed treatment and air channels within ensure improved breathability and powerful airflow for supreme levels of comfort.
• Strategically placed stretch panels on the sides for an optimized performance fit.
• Once deployed, the airbag deflates automatically through a deflation valve.
• The gas inflators housing of the system, electronic wiring and airbag are easily dismantled.
• Bluetooth connectivity to a Tech-Air® app provides passengers with the operating status of the airbag system, the status of the battery and travel information MyRide, which can be easily accessed on a mobile device, subject to network coverage.
• Drivers can easily update the system firmware when new crash detection algorithms are released via the Tech-Air® app.
