erying of technology developed in MotoGP, Alpinestars has redefined protection for motorists who love sports driving with Tech-Air 10® stand-alone airbag system. It is a very thin airbag, it adapts very well to the body and offers protection to the area of the shoulders, chest, full back and hips.

This system can be used below any predisposed monkey with any monkey with 4 cm of space in the chest area and 2 cm in the hip area. It must be taken into account that the monkey has to be large enough to accommodate the expansion of the airbag in case of impact.

It offers excellent protection to the hip area and requires 2 argon gas inflators to completely fill the airbag volume in case of impact. The Tech-Air 10® does not have the dual load concept.

It has an active electronic system that has 12 sensors (1 gyroscope and 3 accelerometers) with an impact algorithm that takes advantage of the AI to decide with precision the time to deploy the airbag in case of impact. The Tech-Air 10 incorporates the latest generation of technology derived and developed for years in MotoGP. Driving data have also been analyzed for millions of kilometres and thousands of drops to continuously improve the intelligent accident detection algorithm. The Tech-Air 5 detects when the pilot crashes and swells in just 40 milliseconds depending on the volume of the airbag size. It offers an impact absorption that results in a decrease in the impact force of up to 95% compared to a passive protector.

It is extremely easy to use, simply close the upper zipper and the front belt will be ready to fly. The inner belt is automatically activated when closed. In the inner belt we find the base of the device.

The LED indicator device can be placed on the pilot's arm. It can also be placed on the motorcycle, depending on the drivers' preferences.

In Race mode, it is activated from 60km/h (37 mph) and from 10 seconds. Under this speed/time, it deactivates.

The Tech-Air 10 has Level 2 certification of the chest and back.

A remote Wireless device with LED indicator indicates the operating status of the airbag.

The integrated lithium ion battery lasts for 24 hours. For a full load, approximately 4 h load is required with the USB. An hour of loading allows approximately 6 h use.

The system comes equipped with a C-type magnetic micro USB charger that allows quick and easy recharge.

The aribag is very breathable, has air canals and perforations in the rear area to offer excellent ventilation and comfort levels.

The Tech-Air® 10 system has a certified air bag for up to three inflates. However, after each deployment, when the system is received for repair, the authorized Tech-Air® Service Center Alpinestars you will perform an airbag inflation test to check if the air bag has been damaged during deployment. If the inflated test is passed, confirming that the airbag was not damaged during deployment, the service will only involve replacing the gas inflators. If the inflated test is not passed, it means that the air bag was damaged during deployment and the system will go through the full service that will involve replacing the gas inflators and the air bag. In the third deployment, the system will go through a full service, replacing the gas inflators and the air bag.

It has Bluetooth connectivity and with the integrated Tech-Air® app you can verify the operating status of the system, the condition of the battery and allow you to see a detailed analysis of the route. The system firmware can also be updated directly through the application.

It has been designed to use in circuit and road and can be used in Race and Street mode thanks to the IA impact detection algorithm. The race mode has been designed to use in circuit.

The base layer of Tech-Air® 10 is detachable and washable.

The base layer is attached to the system by side zippers. This allows to change the inner base layer from one tanda to another.
