• noise level below 84 db (a) at 100 km/h (in motorbikes with braiding)
• safety principle: the reduction of the noise level to which it is exposed favors the concentration and attention of the pilot.

sound intensity is a phenomenon that can be mathematically explained by logarithmic progression.

• the human ear perceives an increase of 10 db (a) in the noise level as if the noise intensity is doubled. also, a decrease of 10 db (a) is perceived as a reduction at half the noise level.

• in cold conditions it often happens that the supply of air through the neck area of the biker is interrupted by hoods, scarves or scarves.
• the concentration of carbon dioxide inside the hull is a key safety criterion in preventing symptoms of fatigue and shortness of breathable air.
• while the concentration of co2 is kept below 3.5%, there is no need to fear the occurrence of negative health effects.
• the maximum level of co2 concentration for workplaces is 0.5 %.
• even when the neck area is isolated by hoods, scarves or scarves, the helmet ensures that the co2 concentration will remain below 0.5% at speeds above 30 km/h.
• in cases where the helmet is completely sealed by hoods, scarves and scarves the viewer should be opened (in a position for driving in town) at rest times, such as for example in traffic lights or driving at low speeds.

a.r.o.s.

the anti-roll-off system (a.r.o.s.) developed especially by schuberth is provided as a safety measure in all helmets for schuberth motorcycle. this device acts in such a way that, while the carrilla is closed and properly adjusted:
